About Me
Hello, my name is Sandra Parra! A little bit about myself and how I began my journey in the landscape designing field... I initially was interested in architecture, but seeing how the climate and shortage in water was affecting California, I decided that it was time to do something about it. I began my career in landscaping in 2009 when I started my college student life at Cal Poly Pomona. When I joined the Landscape Architecture program, I learned so much more about the field and how to design in a way that would help the environment. Once I was done with my degree, I began working for a contractors office where I learned hands on mostly everything I know about how to run and install a project. Along the way I also began doing some freelance projects with the help of some colleagues and licensed Landscape Architects, from which I'm blessed to have learned a lot from.
My dream after high school has always been to have my own firm. Then I thought to myself, why not begin my own company by doing design projects and small planting and irrigation installations...with that said, here I am! I truly hope that you enjoy my work and that you join me in this journey!
